Reading: Color Handout
Write and Upload Blog: Choose one country from your region and research colors that are important in terms of Economic, Military and Cultural Power. Describe how the colors are used for these types of power for your selected country. You may include pictures within the blog to assist you as you write and for later discussion.
I’m going to talk about the Chilean flag because for a long time the the shield or the image specific referring to speak about one country was the flag.
ReplyDeletethe flag of Chile has two unequal horizontal bands of white and red and a blue square the same height as the white band in the canton, which bears a white five-pointed star in the center.
The star represent a guide to progress and honor while other interpretations refer to its reference to an independent state; blue symbolizes the sky and the Pacific Ocean, white is for the snow-covered Andes, and red stands for the blood spilled to achieve independence

I'm going to talk about the iceland flag.
ReplyDeleteThe iceland flag has 3 different color blue,red and whaite.
The colors represent the three elements that make up the island. The blue is for the Atlantic Ocean and the white represents the ice and snow that cover the land. The red is for the fire made by the volcanoes on the island.
